Professor Paul Kellam Elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences

RQ Biotechnology is proud to announce that Professor Paul Kellam has been elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, one of the UK’s highest honours in biomedical and health research.

Fellows are elected for excellence in biomedical and health research, scientific leadership and contributions to the wider scientific community.

Professor Kellam is internationally recognised for his pioneering work in virology, infectious disease biology and translational science.

Over a distinguished career spanning academia
and biotechnology, he has helped shape global understanding of viral genetics and emerging infectious diseases, with research contributions spanning HIV, influenza, Ebola, MERS and COVID-19. His work has directly informed antiviral strategies, pandemic preparedness and the development of novel therapeutic approaches.

At RQ Biotechnology, Professor Kellam contributes his extensive expertise in virology and translational science to support the company’s mission of developing innovative antibody therapeutics against virus diseases.
