Debra is the Head of CMC at RQ Biotechnology Ltd, where she leads manufacturing development, regulatory and CMC strategy for the company's biologics portfolio. Debra has over 30+ years of experience across both the Biotechnology and Pharma industries.
Debra started her career at Celltech Biologics and set up the Molecular Biology Laboratory and then onto Lonza Biologics Commercial team as a Contracts Manager. She went onto the Oxford-based, proteomics discovery company, Oxford GlycoSciences and then to UCB UK to manage the development of their early phase and late phase antibody programs, respectively.
Subsequently as the Founder of her CMC consultancy business, Debra has supported numerous monoclonal antibody-based projects, both early and late phase, as well as several peptide vaccine projects as a Senior CMC Consultant, leading many CMC manufacturing development projects. As a CMC Consultant. Debra has successfully managed programs spanning process and analytical development, GMP manufacturing, technology transfer, quality, leading to approvals of CTAs and INDs from various global regulatory authorities.
Debra is recognised for building effective partnerships across global CDMOs and cross-functional teams to advance innovative therapies through critical development milestones. Her expertise in translating scientific innovation into scalable, compliant manufacturing solutions supports RQ Biotechnology's mission to deliver transformative treatments to patients.
